Good understanding among staffs or team members is often the greatest growth factor of any organization, group or team, which could be achieved by holistic involvement of all members of the group or organization. The group objective must be well explained and understood by all team members. Their individual roles have to be spell out so they can function better. Considering their objectives and goals for customer satisfaction, this is needed to enhance workplace relationship for good service delivery.

ENTHUSIASM


Every organization has goals and objectives, in such they have challenges to surmount in order to achieve those goals; their bead to solve those challenges drives their intentions, to recruit more staffs or to open more branches. Staffs with interest in the growth of the organization are more committed to achieving the organization goals and objectives. “Interest is the bases”! Both for job or business. Once you have interest in the team or organization you consciously give in your best. Your interest in the team enables you to connect easily with team members. Enthusiasm enhances workplace relationship and perfectly networking staffs. It helps on effective information distribution with staffs, resource sharing, mutual understanding and brain storming to resolve challenges. Every organization where its staffs are perfectly networked is; smart, goal getting, accommodating and they inspire each other. Before anyone can truly connect there must be interest; Interest in the organization growth, interest in the team and its success, willingness to learn from other team members, all these propel you towards developing effective workplace relationship with your colleagues. When you have interest in a group its shows through your actions and activities, you are unified with the company objectives and goals. In an organization, enthusiasm is more important than professional skill, because without interest you can’t give in your best. Your skills will not benefit your organization if you have no interest on the organizational growth. Enthusiasm is the zeal that creates workplace excitement, which inspires; it pushes you to give more. Enthusiasm is the greatest asset you can possess in an organization; it’s the passion that drives your productivity. But, when you have no interest your action and activities are unilateral. You are unsubtle with other team mate; you create a bad atmosphere that makes it impossible for the team to succeed, you cocoon yourself with excuses, gossips, withholding information and resources that will grow the team. Before getting involved, there is need to understand if the organization objective or team objectives inspires you or motivate your interest. To be a good team player, you ought to develop interest; you have to develop that enthusiasm, because only enthusiasm enables one to function comfortably in an uncomfortable situation or during challenging times. In a challenging situation, what happened is not an issues, the main thing is what you have got to salvage the situation, solve the puzzle or challenge. Whenever we are interested in something, we naturally invest our best; time and resources to make significant impact this in return enhance our workplace relationship with colleagues or staffs. Interest is the driver for team spirit and success. It will as well helps to build trust and confident among staffs. Good workplace relationship helps organization to effectively achieve their goal and set targets. It creates a good working environment with great understanding among colleagues or team members. Whenever staffs are well networked; they produce better results, information are well distributed and they also learn and share ideas among themselves. All this enhances workplace relationship and that makes the organization smarter than competitors in resolving challenges and meeting customer’s needs.   

TEAM SPIRIT


To work in perfect understanding with people, we have to put away pride, status and personality. Moreover, every employed staff knows his or her position, its needless showing it up. It doesn't build a team. Team spirit embraces best ideas to solve challenges, not hierarchy. Possible best solutions can emanate from the least member of the team. Our interest in an organization or team develops our desire to assist one another to succeed as a team. Team spirit is the desire to work with others on a common goal and the willingness to assist one another to achieve that collective objective. To be a good team player, you have to desire your common goal. Your team goal is your priority. Team spirit helps us to perfectly connect with colleagues. Whenever we have desire for something, we are willing to go all out for it, which enables us to remain open to ideas and contribute as well. Humility and the ability to listen to others are the best attitudes that generate great team spirit. Organization where there is team spirit; team members are hungry for success, they are passionate about their job; they are always willing to share information and assist one another. Team spirit enhances workplace relationship and makes team members more understandable to each other. Team spirit is a desire that strings from the inside to work in understanding with others to lift the organization or group. Organization reviews its team spirit through their service to customers, which unveil the staff intranet-networking system, connections between staffs in service delivery: How perfect they are connected in the discharge of their duty? This among team members workplace attitude enhances productivity of the organization.

MOTIVATION AND ENCOURAGEMENT


Everyone living has a piece of good news, the good news is you. We all can become better, if we decide as individuals and as a group or organization. What is mainly important is we all have to agree on what we want, conform to our goals, work out modality to achieve it. Once there is ‘Will’, there are chances of perfect connection. In an organization or a group, there are always three different categories of Individuals: The active, the reactive and the proactive. These three kinds of people have their different attitude towards work or group project. Their different attitudes have either positive and negative effect on organization productivity or the success of the group. Reactive people respond immediately to situations and often they are very good at responding to emergency situation in the organization or group, but they are not very good at planning events. The active category plan within the least possible time and often they are prompt to mistakes, yet they are best for short term plans. The proactive take their time to analyst the situation and make adequate plans. The ability for these three kinds of individual staffs to function perfectly together builds a great workplace relationship. But, any team member can play multiply role through attitude learning. Reactive person can become active if encouraged or motivated to; they can function as reactive with the necessary instructions and guide. Encouragement in a team is like a drop of rain on a desert. People connect easily with those that encourage them, than those that criticize in the group or organization. The connection and mutual understanding is better in encouraging environment, where team members encourage each other. In a group is such amazing how far you‘re willing and ready to go when someone motivates or encourage you. In an organization or group there are always challenges to resolve, but the weakness of an object or a member of the team can cost the team their overall success? There is need for encouragement and motivation to build great team relationship or workplace relationship. The better the relationships between team members, the greater achievement and the better they deploy services. There is always great prospect in environment where there is encouragement, either morally or financially. Encouragement ignites hope in team members. When the environment is clouded with impossibilities, the greatest form of force breaker is encouragement and motivation. In such situation the solution emanate from anybody. In a team, don’t see anyone as a burden, encourage them. Your encouragement could be all that they require to live above their weakness. Encouragement is an assurance that works miracles in people. It creates that believe that someone understands them, and as well watching their back. The greatest gift you can give to a team mate is encouragement and support, not criticism. Correction goes well in a group or team, but encouragement does much more. A great and productive workplace environment is motivational, they are supportive and team members encourage one another, which makes them very productive.

ORIENTED FEEDBACK


In every organization there is hierarchy, but those in authority should be mindful of their attitude towards their subordinate. As a manager of a department or unit: Your co-ordination, your actions and reactions, your response to your subordinates affects the overall productivity of the entire organization and your department as well. As the arrow head your subordinate will continuously seek your approval in almost everything, your attitude towards them when they approach you and how you pilot the affairs of the department should be in a manner that will build the morale of your subordinates. Your feedback to them should be encouraging and motivational. You should be their guide, their support and their role modern, someone they can look up to. Not the bully or abuser, nor their greatest night mare. It’s such discouraging how some team leaders torment their subordinate all in the name of being strict and objective as they may claim. Being harsh to people don’t bring out the best in them, you only create unnecessary fear in them, you frustrate them emotionally and make the working environment so tensed. When your attitude is not motivational, you don’t just frustrate your team, you as well reduce their productivity, because they are working under such emotional pressure they are bound to several mistakes that can cost the organization service delivery failure, or most often extra cost to rectify. To get the best out of people you have to appreciate them, understand how they function and support them in their weaknesses. Criticizing, abusing and bullying of subordinate don’t make the team better, you only destroying that mutual understanding that can lead to increased productivity. If your attitude creates gap between team members or you and your subordinate, believe me it will do the organization no good. As a team leader or manager you are to build your team morale, motivate them to go beyond their limit and encourage them in their areas of weakness. You are a leader not a boss, a leader say “let’s go”, a Boss will ask you to “go”. Your orientation should make them do better, as you are their source of inspiration. If you don’t draw them close with encouraging words and actions you will gradually cripple the entire organization success. Remember they are not slaves, also they are not your kids or maids; they are also employees and they earn salary and can decide to quit at any time. To keep things blue, you have to understand their different attitudes and make effective plans to effectively direct their efforts for better or increase productivity, which will in return enhance workplace relationship. As their leader they look up to you in so many ways; if they are not growing or learning fast you have to take part in the blame, because that is why you are there, to bring out the best in them. Your primary objective should be to create the environment that can inspire them to give their best and it can’t be achieved by bully, abuse or criticism. If leaders can’t lead by example they don’t worth to wear the hat of mentors; true leaders guides, motivates and encourages their subordinates or create the environment for organizational growth. Outstanding leaders go out of their ways to boost self-esteem in their personnel or team members. You can organize training or seminars or even teach them yourself, but subordinates learn best from your personal attitude. Your integrity highly depends on your overall group interest. Don’t ever give advice you are not willing to follow yourself, if you know you can make mistakes, don’t screen too much when something goes wrong. A lot of leaders don’t counsel, counseling is part of leadership, you not just giving advice; you are creating and developing another set of leaders. If your leadership is not making people leaders you are truly not one. A lot of leaders are so uncomfortable with feedback, they don’t want to be in the picture, but you can’t lead from behind. To enhance team connectivity and improve productivity, as a leader you must give feedback to subordinates. To win in the marketplace you must first of all win in the workplace.

INSPIRED LEADERSHIP


In an organization, subordinates gain inspiration from their leaders; through their smart approach to challenges, their appearance, their compassionate nature, their coordination, their actions and reactions, their determination to meet their objectives, these and more make up their leadership style. As a leader your life is a mirror, subordinate take your toe on almost everything. Leadership is not so much about techniques or methodologies; it’s more about opening the hearts of subordinates. Leadership is inspiring oneself and as well encouraging subordinates to be real. Great leadership is about human experiences, not processes, it’s about functionality; it’s not a formula or a program, it’s about human a activity that connects one heart to the other, someone that consider others. Leadership it’s an attitude, not a routine. Good leaders learn from their subordinate, they listen to know more. Leaders are more powerful when they learn than when they teach. Innovation and initiative is what distinguishes a leader and a follower, without it they are only workers. Leaders do better when they don’t tell you how to do things, but only inform you on what to do. They automatically gives you the freedom to create and become innovative, by so doing they are gradually making you a leader as well. The quality of a leader determines the organization success or failure. Every great leader has unquestionable integrity, without it, no real success is possible, no matter where the leader is found; both in office, groups or pitch. A leader is not a “BOSS”. A boss create fear, a leader create confident. A boss knows all, a leader ask questions. A boss makes work drudgery, a leader makes work interesting. A boss watches you do it, a leader assist you to do it. A boss fix blames, a leader correct mistakes. Leaders don’t force people or push people to do things out of their will; rather they encourage those that truly want to do it. A leader believes that significant problem can’t be solved at the same level of thinking when the problem was created, so they think through situation and challenges. In an organization or group, there is no combination as perfect as to have honest followers. Those that tell the truth and a leader that listen. It’s good to persist, but persistent is best in the right direction, not through the wrong path, this is why leaders listen more and followers need to be more sincere. The best structure even where there is hard work; the leader has to be honest and the followers have to be sincere to their goals. The main job of the leader is to create an environment where others can do great things. A good leader believes his job is to develop others to achieve their goal. A person that don’t want to see subordinate succeed is invariable not a leader but just a worker. The growth and development of others is the primary functions of a leadership, with that the group can easily achieve their aim. As a leader, when you demand the best from subordinates, you have to inspire them with your best. That is putting in your best of effort to ensure that your group succeed, and that will build up your relationship with them as a team. Leadership is about transforming vision into reality, with those that believe. Leaders are trailblazers, making paths for others, inspiring them to reach higher goals, to dream bigger and to achieve greater things. All these qualities of a leader inspire the team and also enhance workplace relationship. 

BEING INNOVATIVE


Any environment where there is something new to learn could always interest employees to stay back. Innovative environment often introduces new business ideas and work function to adapt and evolve, in order to survive and grow in the ever changing market place. Every organization that wants to break through their next level of success always adopts innovation as their key strategies. In such organization staffs are engaged in series of learning, thinking and creativity. When all staffs are involved in the new idea, they play various roles to ensure that the idea comes to limelight. These enhance relationship among team members, colleagues or staffs. Innovative organization gives you the privilege to act on your ideas; it makes you think on a new level. It finds you the way to do things better. Innovation only survives in environment where members of organization or group believe in objectivity, ideas and thinking. Innovation involves new level thinking, why creativity is making new things. Innovation makes creativity happens, without it ideas ends at imagination. Innovation is not automatic, it takes process to accomplish. During these processes, the team members engages in interaction, brainstorming and idealization, which enable them to extra, understand and connect with one another. In such process they build up a great workplace relationship. Fortunately the two core essences of business; Marketing and innovation, involve great interaction to achieve great accomplishment. Bear in mind, the main reason for every job, duty and an activity around any organization is targeted towards customer’s satisfaction. Innovation creates the best opportunity and best strategies to accomplish a more deliverable customer’s satisfaction. Innovation is very good; why it’s good to have new ideas, it’s also important to let go of old ideas that worked before. But most often some organization mixes up things, because a lot of them never want to let go of what works in years past (old ideas). To be creative you have to contribute something different from what you used to. The best way to have a good idea is to have a lot of ideas. Innovation gives the room for inflow of ideas and creativity. Everyone is leverage to creative thinking and brainstorming, which unite the team members and create the environment that will definitely enhance staff connectivity, boost production and ensure customers satisfaction.

COMMUNICATION


Communication is the basis for all relationship, whether personal or professional, it creates intimacy between colleagues. Communication begins with acknowledgement and proceeds with the expected responds. When we initial an interaction with someone, there is need for them to acknowledge our signal in order to establish communication. When we initial conservation for instance; if there is no acknowledge or respond we are not truly communicating. The person we are talking to have to show signs of attention or understanding before our communication can be effective; else we are only talking to ourselves. Acknowledgement is very important for communication to be effective, Often times when we try to communicate with staffs there could be traffics; either their attention was not on us when we talk with them or they could be busy with something else. Without their respond, our trying to interact with them will not produce any fruit. Organizational strength is highly based on staff connectivity, if the communication is good their duty will be much easier for them. Communication connects people around and outside the organization; both people to person and person’s to machine. It makes workplace relationship great. It allows staffs to inter-connect with one another for information dissemination, data sharing and idealization. Communication is strength to every operational phases of production process. From planning to execution communication is very essential. Communication creates understanding in team members and helps to build trust. It grants staffs the ability to function better together. It eases tension in a challenging situation, both for the team and the entire organization. It strengthens union and business ties. It helps to effectively direct both human and material resources for adequate utilization. Communication works for those who work at it, we must check what we communicate to others, because it builds or break their morale. When we interact with people we have to make it a duty to be understood. In communication there is need to be attentive, listen and respond. Communication is the greatest force that unites people. That, through understands, intimacy, mutual value and respect. Communications among people or team members build trust. Effective communication starts by one party listening. You have to listen to respond adequately. Communication is best in an understandable language. That makes your team members understand you and responds adequately to the demands. Communication helps to strengthen the organization service delivery process and enhance workplace relationship.
