It is Imperative to be completely in control of our thoughts; what we do, what
we think and how we respond to things. When it comes to being happy, our state
of mind determines it through what comes out as our thought, either positive or
negative. What goes on in the mind determines our level of joy and motivation
in life. Whenever we feel pleasurable or satisfied our thoughts are always
positive. On the other hand, the thought of anger, grudge, jealousy, fear, failure and bitterness are generated from the negativity
of our consciousness. For many these negative parts take priority over their
mind which can cause incredible damage that can lead to sadness, regret or
pain. This negative thought continuously when conceived, can damage ones
productivity, ability to think well and willpower to move on. It can as well
hold anyone back from achieving all sort of great things. These thoughts;
“positive or negative” are like voices, they talk to us each time, either to encourage
us to do something or discourage us to shy away. The good news is, you can take
full charge of them. You can determine what to listen to, how you act or decide.
What to do or things to consider by taking control over those voices. Some of
these voices come to us when we held of something, when we see things or when
we think of something and this can have a great effect on our emotional health.
So, in order to be constantly happy there is need to control our mind and what
comes out of it. Learning to master our own mind and not allowing the mind to
control us is really very essential to living a happy and fulfilled life. If we
master our mind in totality we will be able to subdue all the negative thoughts
that can emanate from it. Mind control takes time and requires great commitment
to achieve. You must accept the responsibility of your actions and thought. You
must as a matter of fact monitor what you serve the mind as thought. You have
to be selective to the things you see or hear, because they have very great
influence on your thought. If anyone must be happy, there should be great
tendency to think about positive things and allow it to have dominance in the
mind. Positive thought create the room for great and better things to happen.
It is very difficult to win when your mind conceive failure. It’s not easy to
confront when one is overwhelm with fears. It’s very challenging to smile when
one is crying bitterly. What we think often times determines how we feel. To
feel happy and exciting we have to allow the positive thought to dominant our
minds in order for us to live a fulfilled life.
SELF DISCIPLINE
The essence of time management, personal management and setting priorities is
to become more productive, focused and goal oriented, this is achievable
through discipline of self. Planning and organizing is the most powerful and an
integral part of self-discipline. One of the greatest benefits of self-discipline
is self-freedom. A lot of people, through their wicked verses try everything
within their power to enslave others. But you know what; no one can enslave you without your conceptual inclusiveness. With self-discipline
and keen observation you can understand their intentions and where they are
driving no matter how shady they appear. Discipline is achieved through
practice and repetition of concise plans for it to be fully enforced. Our area
of discipline becomes our habit automatically with time. The good news is that;
discipline can be learned. It’s possible to be awkward today and be fine tone
tomorrow, it’s all about choice. Our choice and what really grows our emotional
health are the keys areas we concentrate our effort to be disciplined on.
Everybody have their weakness; some became victims through loving the wrong
people, some are victimized by their sight, some by their emotions, some by
their thoughts, some by their environment etcetera. But by enforcing
discipline, we can unfold the ties and get things well on form and kick start
in the right directions living above those constraints. Through constant
practice and enforcing some character change into self-attitude, we can become
anew, living above those constraints and limitation set against us due to lack
of discipline. Discipline is done in the subconscious mind through programming
the mind to suit our needed attitudes and activities that enriches us. It daily
practice can be so rewarding if one is mindful of its consistency and
applications in our lives. Discipline is beneficial and enables us to work
single minded towards any decision or plans. Discipline helps to follow plans
to its conclusive end without wavering. It contributes greatly to our success
and development against all odds. Every object on motion or any moving object
push through gravity. Gravitational forces are everywhere working against man's
focus and determination but with discipline we will come on top strong. Success
is not in absent of challenges, it only survive through self-discipline.
Discipline is light to invention and greatness.
COMPASSION AND DESIRE TO HELP OTHERS
When we are emotionally connected to others we avail ourselves the opportunity
to see through their circumstance, and the gesture enables us to tap into our
higher level of selves; reasoning through their situation helps us to gain
wisdom and knowledge that can enable us proffers lasting solutions. The most
reliable way to sustained happiness is working for the happiness of others; be
it in a group, in any community or organization, with
friends and family or even through assisting a stranger. As human we co-exist,
we need each other, as each other need all of us. We cannot be absolutely happy
in the vacuum of this world alone. The world will look more of a vacuum, if we
deny ourselves the rare privilege to appreciate one another. Being compassionate
towards others provides the privilege to understand more of their situation
than they do. It’s like a game; fans see more than the players. They see more
mistakes than those on the pitch of play. The reason is simple; The fan is
passionate about his team and he gave the game an undivided attention that
enable him see through the game even more than the players on pitch. He can
carefully narrate the game and as well proffer reasonable solution to win. For
a compassionate person, because he is not directly connected to the challenge,
he is more relaxed and can reason better way out. So, his energy, support and
assistant recreate a lasting hope for his buddy. When this is done more often,
he acquires ideas and greater wisdom to operate in a much higher level of
understanding. Being compassionate towards someone create trust, confident and
often times lasting relationship. It creates hope that develop outward winning
attitude, which in return if well connected with our subconscious mind, it develops
into sustained happiness and peace of mind. The privileges to show others love
are everywhere for us to tap into; It might be emotional, which our words or
smiles can heal. It can be to show assistant or anything, once is important to
someone is necessary we take on the opportunity to make someone happy. This
gesture goes a long way to recreate hope and happiness both in us and the
person we care for. You lose nothing by being compassionate; it’s good we work
for the joy and happiness of other. In little things men earn grace, unending
gift of wisdom, happiness and peace of mind.
SETTING AND ACHIEVING GOALS
Hard work is the pathway to guaranteed success, why it determines success, it
can as well be managed by setting goals through proper planning. With great decision
and discipline setting and achieving goals becomes accessible by anyone that
determines to. Information enhances thought; the more knowledge you have about
a thing, the brighter you’re on that particular thing. Planning effectively is
as a result of adequate information or knowledge.
So, to achieve any goal; our information about it should be sufficient. It enables
us to develop great forecast and position us ahead to win. Every goal achieved
was once an imagination conceived and nurtured as an idea. It all begins with a
will to move from learning to creating. Learning about the process and
forecasting possible challenges, helps us to think through it and proffer
possible solutions that positions us well to achieving unbelievable height.
Having a clear vision of where one is going, with great understanding as to how
to get there, is absolutely important to achieving any goal. Before any goals,
there is always a need to be met. To meet such needs we required deep study of
all the elements necessary to accomplish it. The knowledge of what before us,
motivates our drives to keep keeping on. Goal setting requires absolute focus,
determination, discipline, diligence and great decision to see it to
accomplishment. Once any goal is set, we are also expected to set everything
within us and around us to achieve it. Goal setting enables us to plan. Setting
and achieving goals is the pillar of greatness. It’s the joy of ventures and
adventuring. It brings feelings of satisfactions which give birth to greater
imagination and accomplishment. Whenever we hit a level of success, its joy
pushes us higher to achieve greater success. But for success to be continuous,
discipline is required. Discipline is quite needful to get going, because is
the most important tool for continuous growth. Irrespective of our endeavors,
it takes discipline to effectively prioritize goals. Goal getting becomes a
habit through discipline, diligence, good decisions, accompany with great
determination to see it through all odds.
NEVER GIVING UP ATTITUDE
I am yet to see anything as sweet as willpower in the field of endeavor.
Whenever the thought of keeping on comes to the mind, i remember Thomas Edison.
If Thomas Edison can still succeed after such long haul of failures. Meaning
anyone that kept on will succeed no matter that you are or what you doing, you
can't fail a thousand times before you hit success. Someone has gone through
all that, even if you failed up to a thousand times, someone failed more than
you. Thomas Edison is a great example when we think of never giving up
attitude. But something enabled Edison to keep faith strong. Edison was able to
take control his thought all through his experiment and was able to create
another name for failure. He sees failure as an attempt to try better. Failure
is only an attempt, just as success is an attempt too. Whether you got it wrong
or right, you only attempted something. But whatever your result is; never give
room to the loud negative voice from your subconscious mind. There is only two
voices; positive and negative. Positive voice is the one encouraging you to try
more, while the negative voice suggest you quit, you are not good enough, success
is not yours. All sort of rubbish popping up. You are to subdue that negative
voice and listen to the tiny little positive voice. This Thomas Edison did all
through those challenging period of his invention of light bulb. One thing to
note is; if you quit, the same negative voice that suggest you quit will accuse
you of giving up too soon. Thomas Edison sees failure as a data all through his
experiment. Anytime he failed in the procedure he only take note of the wrong
steps in order to avoid it next time. So the more he was experiencing the
failures, the more he was taking note of ways not to do it. So at a point he
has so many ways of not doing it right and that enable him to narrow down his
focus to possible way out. Failure is a clue to success itself. Every great and
successful accomplishment had their challenges; most often successful people
failed more because they try more things. Can you imagine someone sleeping to fail?
Only those awake and working out something fail or have the tendency to fail.
It takes nothing for someone on the ground to remain on the floor. But if he
must get up, he must look up and be ready to stand up. If you ask me people
should be confident to fail, because only those that dares to fail truly
succeed. If you can fail, there is almost equal chance of success if that
failure is not allow going deep down into your subconscious mind. A lot of
things lead to failure; inadequate preparation, lack of observation,
insufficient knowledge, environment and your mind etcetera. So study the real
cause of the failure and avoid it next time. That what those that succeeded
knew differently. Often, failure begins before you even try; only the mind
makes it so. If you conceive failure in anything you will hardly have success
in that thing. It’s imperative to position your mind for success if you truly
want to succeed. Let the tiny positive voice dominate your thought and you are
very sure of an exciting life.
BEING COMPLETELY RESPONSIBLE
Fortunate enough, being responsible begins in the mind; by controlling and
regulating our thoughts always, to ensure only what makes us grow and
emotionally healthy is permitted to go into our subconscious mind. Been a
master to our mind enables us to take total control of our lives. Our physical
actions and activities are all products of our thinking and imaginations. “To
take full responsibility of our lives we have to take full responsibility of our thoughts”. As human our subconscious mind is only
activated by affirmations and images from our senses. Our senses react in
responses to what we allow into our thoughts. To be completely responsible in
our day to day life we have to take responsibility of what we feed our thought.
If you are positive about anything you hardly have disappointment in it. Responsibility
starts from the mind and it takes shape through our actions. Being completely
responsible means taking absolute control over our minds; guide it with most
consciousness through that which is true. Being positive don’t just end at
having positive wishes, it exceeds to being true; positive thoughts and
positive actions. It means feeding the mind with what it truly needs to
flourish. Taking responsibility over what we think affect how we behave, it
also determines our opinion and our drive towards life. It determines in some
cases our involvement and our companionship. It creates the things that happen
to us. So, to stay positive and joyful we have to take full charge of our
thoughts. Taking full charge of our thought, enable us to have control over our
actions and activities. Whatever becomes our regular thought become our habits.
A lot of individuals find it difficult to stay positive mostly in a tense
situation, their mind often drive towards the negative thought each time. They
believe the situation can’t be surmounted. They find it difficult to
doubtlessly remain positive, so they affirm the negative. But the good news is;
it’s possible to powerfully and completely influence your subconscious mind in
a way that only the positive thoughts will be allowed in. You can replace
frustration with gratitude, disappointment with hopes; if you ensure only the
positive thought continuously dominate your mind. When this is done
continuously it literally programmed us for stable and sustains happiness and
success, which in return give us complete privilege to take full responsibility
of our lives.
